Doug Scheibel |REALTOR®

In the early 1950’s, the Scheibel family moved to Nanaimo.  The nineteen brothers and sisters and their families established roots all over the Nanaimo area.  Their principle occupations mostly revolved around the construction industry and they were instrumental in developing many areas in the central Nanaimo area.

Doug was raised in Nanaimo for most of his life and has seen a huge change in the little town that he grew up in.  From a small town of 20,000 people to bustling city that it is today.

He met and married his wife Debbie in Nanaimo and their twin sons Matt and Clayton were born and raised here as well.

Doug has been a self-employed businessman, working in the sales field for over 28 years.  His business ventures have covered the central Vancouver Island region from Duncan to Campbell River.  Along the way, he has established a reputation as a reliable and honest businessman, committed to providing the highest level of sales service.

Over the years, Doug has been very involved in the local community including the Lion’s Club, Nanaimo Bathtub Society, Minor Hockey and Minor Baseball.  He has also contributed both time and money to other various charities and events.
